So finally arrive to kota kinabalu fairly unhassled. Get off the plane and now it’s time to find my mates. Though funny how every taxi I ask has never heard of the blue ocean lodge. Also not a good start…. Finally get one to drive me into the area that its in and just start looking. YAY found without a hitch and ohhhh how good that shower felt.

Day two:

Starts off a normal vancouver rainy day. Oh but the fact that its 29deg and muggy. oh well not too bad. Good day for the first one though cuz being sunday there is a flea market like thing right outside. YAY I HEART CRAP. Typical stuff like wood trinkets, clothes, dogs, turtles. What??? Dogs and turtles?? Yes dogs and turtles like the real kind. WHERE IS THE SPCA??? Fun to wonder though What trouble can i get into though?

Lets check out the local zooooo! I’ll keep this brief, composed of:
Riding an elephant, STAMPY!!
Challenging a oranutang to a coconut shucking competition. (I let her win. Stupid monkey)
Being attacked by a gibbin (monkey) that was loose and later shot with a tranq.
Watched a elephant eat mamas poo.
Watched a oranutang barf and then eat it.
You know the usual stuff you do.

Now i’m all sweatty and need some food.
