Oh Shanghai

If there is one word to describe Shanghai, it would be chaotic. This massive city is built on chaos. Shanghai throws you in the middle of a busy metropolitan city, with malls on every corner, high-rise apartment style living, and people everywhere. Bustling with hundreds of thousands more people due to the expo, the sights and subways are packed to the gills with people. What makes this city that much more chaotic is the sense of little planning when building this place. Roads are far from the “grid” system with them twisting and turning all over the place. Again much like Beijing, stop lights are optional with cars, scooters, and bikes plowing through walkways and sidewalks. To get to different sights in the city you have to change metro trains 3-4 times and tickets are more costly than in Beijing. This city just has so much life and commotion, its hard to enjoy. I thought the sights themselves where even fairly mundane. So after a much too long stay here, I’m more than happy to continue my journey.

HK, What u got for me??
