HK to the issay

Bright neon signs and great food is usually associated with the amazing city of Hong Kong. I have found them both. This condensed, shopping and food packed city is a haven for people who like to stuff their bags and their tummies. I’ve been doing the latter. Eating stinky tofu, cow tounge, jack fruit, and meals galore. Slerping down fresh lemon tea, bbt, roadside herbal tea (good for kidney pain? but I don’t have kidney pain. “you will” replies my cuzin).

Another comfort to exploring this city is to have family around. I’m lucky enough to be able to stay and have my cuz show me around. Also meeting up with my aunt and grandma. Who all make me look like an OGAR. I’ve gotten the dl on the city, checked out the night markets, seen the neon lights lining the streets, and there’s still more to see, do and eat.

To all the good there must be a bad though. The only bad, Torrential downpours. Well that and maybe getting shanked by a gangster that you look at funny. This is a lively city that you could eat till you drop and still not try everything. Good thing most of my pants are stretchy.
