A new start

Round two: Western World……. “Begin!”

The next adventure has begun but is off to a slow start. After an, as good as can be expected, flight set. 19 hour total flight time and 3 hour of layovers. I arrived in balmy Melbourne, being 12-13 deg on a warm day down to 5ish at night, welcome to winter! It is nice to be able to curl up in front of a warm fire with a cup of tea and bundled in warm clothes, though after about a week the novelty wears off.

WHAT HAVE I DONE??!!!! WINTER????? Especially one that is not covered in snow. If I wanted cold, might as well have done it properly and gone to where it snows bundles.

Either way its nice to be back in this city. Food, Sights, Sounds, Smells, all which tickle the palate. I’ve loved having a kitchen and being able to get back to cooking, which at the moment is what I do to pay the rent. My friend is being gracious enough to let me stay on the couch for free, least I can do Is make sure dinner is ready when she comes home. Is this what a home makers life is like? Haha…..

After a couple of nice days in the countryside chilling out, its time to get to business. Bank accounts, Tax numbers, Vehicles, are what were needed to get done. The vehicle is the one that is taking some time. To find one cheap enough, yet good enough to get me round this massive country is a tough gig. Once that gets figured out the real adventure begins!

P.S. did I mention that we had an earthquake? Yay!
