The phrase “sweating your balls off” more takes a literal meaning when it comes to this place. It is freaking hot here, not like “ahhhhh the sun is out and is so hot!” More of an, “It’s quite hazy out but still why are most of my body parts swimming in their own moisture?” The Air is thick and A/C is mandatory in anywhere it’s possible to put it. Strolling the streets the smells of this city is what it is famous for, the food. I would love to share all my eating experiences with you but I can’t read Chinese. Therefore I really haven’t been able to order anything. YUMMMM.
Aside from food that I can’t order, all the sights I’ve wanted to see have been seen in one day. So bailing early I’m off to Kauhsiung Via the high speed train. Cuz I’ve been promised food! Don’t lie to me Dustin!
What I am impressed about here is mostly the people. They are very friendly and willing to help. I had been lost a couple of times and stopped to ask for directions, and while one was trying to help me 5 others walking by would stop to help as well. I mean i’m perdy and all, but thats over and beyond.
