Over the last week I’ve once again returned to the city, mostly as a transfer point to the next destinations though. Starting with Kuala Lumpur. KL is the Capital of Malaysia, to who’s claim to fame is the Patronas Towers. The city itself I would have to say is nothing special. Just another big city. Though the towers on the other hand have quite the impressive look going on. Though they don’t look like they could have been the tallest in the world, there is something quite spectacular about the design.

Next stop was and still is Melaka. Known to some of the guests as “a black hole”. This is still quite a big city but without the big city feel. It’s a very cultural city in look and vibe. Much more laid back than most places I’ve been too. Lots of travelers I’ve run into have stopped off in this city for a day or two, but then have stayed for 1 or 2 months. Hence “black hole” I’ve been advised to get out before a week or I’ll  be stuck too. It’s just so chilllll……..

But in a day I’ll be on the move once again. Next stop Tioman, an island on the east coast of Malaysia. Purpose, Volunteering with the Juara Turtle Project. It’s an organization to help repopulate the sea turtles around Tioman. I’ll be there probably a week or so. So hopefully I’ll be playing with Squirt! (Go watch finding nemo if u don’t know who that is!)
