Bangkok Dangerous

Is it? Some say yes some say no. In my opinion it’s just another big city. Take the precautions you normally would in any large metropolitain area and you should be fine.

Things seem to have calmed down though there is still the reminisce of the past ruckus. Metal detectors entering the skytrains and malls, burnt down malls, edgy people. Though talking with some people living in Bangkok, they don’t worry about any of it. During the heat of uprise staying out of the trouble areas was the main thing.

Getting around in Bangkok is quite easy these days, between the skytrains, subways, and water taxi’s, the rest can be done on foot. The only difference here about walking, is the amount of times you hear “Massage??” and if your in the right areas, or wrong areas depending on your view “Ping Pong Show??”

This city is also full of temples, since Buddisum is the main religion in Thailand. The difference I find with these temples is boy do the Thai’s love their bling. Covered to look like gold, these monuments really do stand out from the temples I have so far seen. As well the Thai buildings do have a unique style of their own.

Oh and guess what? I found a white girl so I just had to take a picture with her. Crazy huh?

  1. Ping Pong?!! I love ping pong!! I’d say Thai ping pong probably beats Mexican donkeys! Hehehe, but I guess you’ll have to send photos to be sure. Y’know, it’s never good to assume these things.

Hope you enjoyed the familiar face cuz it could be a while before you get that again. Back to diving?
